Logos 5 will not Start SQLite error

On Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit LOGOS 5.0b SR-4, version 5.0.2.0755:

After logging into the login window the program immediately crashes. According to the log file it is a column in the database that does not exist. This started happening after a forced mandatory update.

I would begin with WHATEVER HAPPENED TO HELL? by John Blanchard.

Why isn't this important book in the Logos collection please?

Questions on Loeb vs. Perseus

Is anyone aware what the differences will be for Loeb editions of texts already in Perseus, besides (presumably) minor textual variants and a different English translation to accompany the text?

To be more specific, will Loeb be morphologically tagged?

I have refrained from bidding on Loeb editions covered by Perseus, but if the Loeb are tagged, this might change my mind.

I just saw that a bridge on I-5 has fallen into the river which it crosses. The accident appears to have occurred just south of Bellingham, WA. Though I will be praying for all those caught in this crisis, I am also praying that no LOGOS employees are involved. Keep the area in prayer.

Logos always freezes at shut down

For some reason when I try to "quit" Logos 5 it always freezes. I can still work on my laptop, and the actual Logos window closes but the program seems to get stuck in shut down mode and I have to "Force Quit" every time. (I don't think I'm exaggerating either) Also, my Hard Drive ends up getting really loud until I do finally "Force Quit."

I have upgraded to 8GB of RAM which helped some with speed and start-up time. However, the freezing is just annoying.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Misspellings in "Bringing Up Boys"

This book is full of errors. I have sent some of them into Logos, but still nothing has been done. I was only make it it the first couple of pages of the third chapter before I had to stop reading it. Maybe I am the only one reading this book, but still can ther be anything else done to correct the errors? I bought this book back in December of 2011, and have still not had any correction. Proclaim Presentation Slow

Proclaim 1.08.0096

Running on Windows XP SP3 or Mac Mountain Lion or Mac Snow Leopard

All seeing large slowness during On Air presentation. No other devices connected at the time. Worst slowness is seen on an IMac running snow leopard with Motion backgrounds. Turning on transitions helps a little. Going to static slides helps a little.

Windows is by far the fastest of the 3 but is buggy in other ways so that we do not trust it.

Please advise on troubleshooting so that we can resolve this issue - Or is it simply inherent with Proclaim?

Slide Order Box

What are other slide order box options other than:

1 = Verse 1

2 = Verse 2

3 = Verse 3, etc.

P = Pre-chorus

C = Chorus

C2 = Chorus 2 (But only Chorus 1 = C hotkey works apparently)

E = Ending

What to do if there are more than one Pre-chorus or chorus?

I know some of you will smile, perhaps others will roll their eyes, at the protestant Baptist seminarian (who is only a 2 point Calvinist and tonight I have forgotten which TULIP points) asking this foundational question but biblically speaking When Did God Create Hell?

How did you use Logos 5.0 to arrive at your answer please?

Please assume God DID create Hell for your replies.

God bless those with divergent theological views in this matter, but I am asking please for replies that do not mention purgatory. Thanks.

BUG, or "When did this change?" PG Commentaries now shows section name.

I was staring at my passage guide trying to figure out what I was looking at when I realized that the PG commentaries section no longer just displays the resource title. Now it also displays the section name--is this new in 5.1 or have I just been non-observant?

I don't like it because it makes it hard to identify resources. Often the section name will take up the entire line and it completely hides the resource title. I like that the mouseover on the section name does provide a content preview pop-up that people have asked for, but I think it makes it more difficult to use.

I like to use the passage guide in a narrow window like below, and the change makes it near impossible to tell which resource is which:

It even hides the "star", which (although I never use it) shouldn't disappear for proper interface design.

Even if I have the window wider, it is still a problem in some instances. And the fact that the resource names are after the section names makes it hard to scan to find a particular series.

Could the resource name be put first? Please? That would be my preference--it is more important than the section name.

I can see a similar problem occurring when the resource name is too long, but maybe the short name could be used in those instances (or all instances, if necessary).

I realize this is the way that the Collections section has acted since the beginning, but since I use it less than the Commentaries section, I haven't been bothered until now. I would prefer that the Collections section also put the resource title first as well.

Section names are pretty useless in general, and especially in commentaries, as can be seen from the examples.
