The application of default formatting to a clipping by means of the Apply default formatting icon is evanescent. As we Scots would say,"it disappears like snaw off a dyke in June".

Here are two screenshots to illustrate the problem.

This shot was taken at 15:45 GMT after I had re-applied the default formatting using the icon.

A few minutes later I added an additional clipping and noticed that it had reverted to the originally clipped text which had imported its formatting from the resource text. viz. Indentation at beginning of paragraph. I applied default formatting again and took the above screenshot. Then I added another clipping and the original clipping reverted to resource formatting! Again! So I took the second screenshot to illustrate.

This was taken at 15:47 GMT.

Please fix this.

Sorry this slipped through the cracks. Is it still a problem?

I'm able to replicate this on Mac. I'll report it.
