When trying to read the outline using the Bible Outline Browser selecting the College Press NIV Commentary vol 1 these results are returned, not an outline. Volume 2 seems to be in order.
Is that what it is supposed to look like? I have tried to use it several times and gave up. On my laptop all I get is a perpetual spinning wheel in the center of the window (not the Mac OS spinning beachball). And on my main desktop I get this:
This appears to have slipped through the cracks
I do not get Mr. Simple's results. However, I get such mixed results from the BOB that it is generally unreliable and frustrating. I get a mixture of no results (aka the spinning lines), to no list showing, to clicking on a list from a previous search (the results from the previous search are visible and it behaves as if the current search never happened) that then brings up the current search results. I can't figure it out.
I will say, when it is working, I do really like it. It makes getting an overview of books much easier and from different perspectives. It doesn't, however, return consistent results for me.
Oh, and when I do get results, I seem to get a perpetual spinning lines wheel in the results window even though I can click on results and view them in the viewer portion.
PS. My results seem blurry.
Mr. Simple,
I was able to replicate the behavior when searching for the entire book of Isaiah.
Hi Michael,
I'm unable to replicate the behavior you describe. Is there a specific verse you search for when using The Baker Illustrated Bible Commentary that causes this? If there is one, does the behavior occur every time?
Tommy,
My results are inconsistent at this time, sorry. At least in terms of the spinning thing.
What is really hard on the yes right now is the apparent blurriness of that whole pane. I tried adjusting the pane scaling up and that does help a bit. But, it is still not as clear as the other panes.
Also, any reference I use does not seem to take immediate affect, at least there is no visual indicator, until I click on an old result then everything updates. Hope that makes sense.

I'm going to email you about this.
Are you still on the beta? I have notes from a case from February mentioning you being on beta.
Bump - Michael
Ooops, thanks for the bump, Dave. I did not realize there was a response.
I am not on the beta anymore. I gave that up a couple months ago. I am now on SR-1. However, my eyes are so tired at the moment that I cannot tell if it is still blurry or not. [|-)]
I will try to remember to check it in the morning.
Okay, finally getting back to this. I have checked this on two installations. Both Mac, both stable. They both appear to be a bit fuzzy or blurry to me. That is, the text of the side bar on the left and particularly the main text area. Though, in the left hand list of resources, the titles and authors are fuzzy but the expanded text that falls below the title and author appear more crisp.
I'm almost certain this is due to the CEF (Chrome Embedded Framework) that powers interactives. So it will have to be a known issue until that gets fixed by Google. (The good news is that we've seen them fix several font rendering issues since shipping L6.) I also responded here:

Sorry for the inconvenience.
I get this same result (the screen shot of Isaiah with the numbers partially hidden), and cannot seem to find and answer in this thread. Any suggestions?
Welcome to the forums. This issue is waiting solution from Google so, like Faithlife, we have to wait.
