Hi,

Today I finally decided to purchase "The David Jeremiah Lifeworks Library 2.0."

Tried to find it and a search says, something like " product we don't carry".

I just checked it out last night and it was there...what's up?  Even added to my cart as "save for later".

It is no longer in my cart either.

Thanks, Mark

There are individual titles of Dr. Jeremiah's work (https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=%22David+Jeremiah%22) but I don't find a collection.

It could have been pulled-it has happened before.

Ok, weird. Just last weekend I bought the David Jeremiah LifeWorks Library (not the 2.0) and now the link is no longer active in my order history.

You might try looking around on other reseller pages, you'll likely find the boxed set for libronix, which Faithlife can add to your account. Just try to ensure its new in box, and not already activated as they have an additional fee (and an extra layer of complexity) if the title has been activated on another persons account.

The first one has just been pulled from the website as well. I had it on my wishlist because of one of the reference books it contained.

Looks like Faithlife is still marketing it though, but this page may change or been taken down soon as well. My wife got me the 2.0 package last year for my birthday. I was interested in it more for the reference works than anything else, as it was an extremely good deal.

Looks like I got the first Lifeworks collection just in the nick of time. It was a super-deal (only $49.99) for all the good stuff I got in there (especially The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge and the Believer's Bible Commentary, $35.95 each).  Some of the same reference works that were in the first Lifeworks are in the John MacArthur: Collected Works and Resources (47 vols.) but not all, which is why I decided on David Jeremiah, though I would've much preferred John MacArthur's titles. I'm wondering if the MacArthur collection might be pulled as well?

The New TSK page now only says it is included in the MacArthur and Courson collections, unfortunately.

I recall buying the Jeremiah collection mostly for the Believer's Bible Commentary. I had the NTSK from my first Logos buy which was a MacArthur set. I get the feeling that the publishers pulled the reins on these good values. I could be wrong, but it's got historical traction.

I just noticed that I purchased this in 2010 but none of the books are in the software. Anything Logos can do to unlock the license? Or am I out of luck unless I can find my DVDs?

Did you purchase via the website? Is it in your order history?

Yes, it's in my order history on the site, but I may have purchased it at a Camp Logos seminar, rather than directly from the site. When I purchase through the Camp, they order through the site for me or call it in; I'm not sure which.

I called Logos and since I don't still have the DVDs, they gave me a new serial number and unlocked the resource. I'm so thrilled. That's more than 40 resources that were missing from my library.

That is great. It was definitely worth the call! Faithlife continually goes "above and beyond"!

The sad part is that it took her 5 years to realize she was missing 40 resources from her library! A clear testimony to the "buy just for the sake of buying" habit many of us get into sometimes.

For sure it is worth double-checking everything we buy. And yes, it is easy for any of us to get caught in a buying-frenzy.

And I suppose you know everything Cynthia's been doing and what's happened to her in the last five years. And I suppose you know that she just buys for the sake of buying as you clearly imply.

Douglas, that statement doesn't reflect well on you. Perhaps you could edit it away.

Is there something I should know about what she's been doing for the past five years that probably you know about? I don't think so.  I really respect you Mark, you're a great man, but I believe you may have read too much into my post.  In reality it doesn't matter what she's done in the past 5 years, she could've been in a coma and just recently woke up from that coma, the fact remains that if she had not read this O.P. and had she not checked (after 5 years) she would still be missing those 40 resources.

I think Bruce's reply was more in line with what I wrote -- yes, we need to double check to make sure we have what we've just purchased and yes WE (I always include myself, because I know I'm guilty of it at times) sometimes can get caught in the "buy for the sake of buying" frenzy as Bruce stated.

If my post had been an "inflammatory" post, then I would gladly delete it, but no bad intentions were behind it - it was just a true statement that implied a reality many of us (including you) go through -- buying for the sake of buying (not everybody might call it "buying for the sake of buying").  It happens to most of us -- the other day (as an example) I wanted to buy a book by Jack Cottrell on the Holy Spirit not realizing I had already picked it up almost a year ago during one of the Twitter Daily Deals.  Sometimes we buy it for the sake of buying or for the sake of "having it" if you want to call it that, and we end up forgetting is in our library or don't even realize it never downloaded to our libraries like it happened to Cynthia.

Anyway, I'm sorry my post didn't set well with you; but believe you me, no bad intentions were behind, only a sad reality many of us face, that's all.

Blessings!

DAL

Edit: My apologies to Cynthia if she was offended by my post.  She hasn't said anything, but I hope she doesn't take it the wrong way.
