How can the timeline on a video clip be viewed so that a countdown is seen for the clip while it is playing? We just need to know when the clip will end.

If you hover over the video in the preview you should be able to see a timeline scrubber at the bottom of the video.

Thanks guys, but that is not quite what I'm looking for. I need a counter either up or down on a clip similar to quicktime. We need this for a smooth transition from clip to camera.

Hey Hal, I can see how this would be really useful in your situation. This is already in our list of features to implement, but I'll see about getting its priority moved higher.

In the mean time, what I would do is hover over the the timeline the number of seconds back that I want my cue for. For instance, with a 1 minute 3 second video, I will hover my mouse at 58 seconds. When the timeline reaches my mouse, I can start counting down to 5 for the camera operator.
