Browsing Vyrso tonight I discovered two more resources which means that Faithlife offers for the Uniform Series/International Sunday School Lessons, the following resources:

  • The New International Lesson Annual from Abingdon Press in Vyrso
  • Adult Bible Studies, Daily Bible Study and in Fall 2015 the parallel youth series [incomplete set of student and teacher quarterly resources] from Cokesbury in Vyrso
  • David C. Cook Bible Lesson Commentary in Logos
  • Standard Lesson Commentary from Standard Publishing in Logos

What is needed:

  • If possible the Cokesbury version should be predictable and complete.
  • All of these use the same readings with minor variations of memory verse and optional daily readings. This fit nicely into a standard lectionary format of which I can provide an example. A few niceties for distinguishing the ISSL thematic divisions would be nice but not required.
  • A default layout with the "Lectionary" for these resources which opened all resources one owns in the list above, the Bible used by the lessons (NRSV, CEB, KJV, NABRE for Abingdon; CEB, NRSV for Cokesbury; KJV & NRSV or NIV for David C. Cook and KJV or NIV for Standard Publishing), one commentary or study Bible and the Information panel which opens from the home page when you click on the "lectionary" reading.
  • Possibly needed would be the addition via community tags, the date links needed for the Vyrso books to participate in the layout.

What would be gained, especially if the layout was available via the Logos Now web application and the mobile apps:

  • a very nice way to introduce Logos into the Sunday morning classroom at an inexpensive price with the ability to sell Bible dictionaries, atlas, reverse interlinear Bibles etc. both for the teachers and for the students.
  • a very nice way into move people from Vyrso to Logos

Note ISSL lessons run in quarterly units for a year that runs September-August in a six year cycle.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    Seems sensible

It's been said before in the forums that the last 20% takes 80% of the effort. I don't know if this is true - hope not in this case.
