I rebooted my system earlier, unrelated to L4, and when the system came up again I got a message indicating that L4 was indexing. I thought that was a little strange because I didn't think L4 would index without the application running. So I started L4 and the system continued to index until I got a windows' message that the indexer had stopped. The message later dissappeared and I assumed the index had restarted. It's been some time now (my system usually indexes pretty fast). There's no blue icon in my system tray indicating that it's indexing but if I attempt a search I get the typical message about missing or incorrect results because it's indexing.
Here's my silly question: Is it really indexing? First of all, I haven't received any new resources nor has there been a recent download. There's normally the little blue Icon indicating indexing in the system tray but it's not there. Task Manager shows almost no activity. Given the earlier windows' message, I'm wondering if something is awry. Should I "rebuild index", wait it out or what?
