Logos seems to "have a thing" for interlinears of various stripes. I suspect that it defaults to the reverse interlinear since you don't have a REAL GREEK TEXT in your preferred bibles. Try putting the NA27 in your preferred bibles and be sure that it is of a higher rank than the reverse interlinear (or just delete the reverse interlinear altogether since interlinears are an abomination).
Did you try Properties, scrolling down to "Change your preferred Greek NT"?
It is the MAC version 1.1 and it doesn't seem to have the option to 'change your preferred greek NT' under properties. What version do you have?
Oh, OK. I did not realize we are in Mac section. It should be structured diferent way. I am constantly reading MAC posts not knowing it is from that section. Sorry for that.
Are you absolutely sure that the MAC version doesn't allow you to change your preferred bible!!! Check under "Tools | Options | Keylink" set the "Data Type" to "Bible" and promote or demote bibles until you get what you want. I can hardly believe this wouldn't be available for the MAC. But then, I wouldn't have a MAC if they gave it to me.

From there you can select your preferred Bible.
What I meant was not to change the default Bible, but in the Bible Word Study report (in my PC version) I go to Preferences and there are many things you can change about your Greek and Hebrew resources. You go to Change your preferred Greek NT (or Septuagint, or Church Fathers resource etc.) You do not have that in MAC version?

There are reasons the users of Mac Libronix are a wee bit restless. Quite a bit is missing. Various behaviors are different. There are fewer settings. Preferred text in a Word Study is one thing you cannot change, or if you can I can't see how.

I know this has been brought up before, but so has the incessent complaints about the Mac version so I think it is a fair reply. In there defense the aspects that we all love so much on the Windows version have been a long time coming, and came slowly and iterativley. To expect a lightspeed paring of the Mac version of a historically Windows software company is a bit rediculious in my mind. Give them time.

I agree in part. But it does come down to expectations. The Mac version was released in December of last year, six months ago and since then there has been no features added, only a bug fix. What is a realistic time frame to see a bit more functionality added? Eight months? A year or more? Logos has understandably been tight lipped on any dates, so its down to anyone's guess as to when we will see this.
Bob said on the old news forums that there was going to be a few more bits added to this version, but indicated that the real effort is being placed on the next major release. (presumably somewhere in line with the upcoming Windows 4.0 version) I could be wrong, but I'm guessing we won't see any huge leap forward in functionality until Windows 4.0 comes out, so depending on when you guess the 4.0 comes out, is probably how long we have to wait. I figure anything we get between now and then is icing on the cake, and for the foreseeable future I will have to run Windows on Fusion.

The Mac version of Logos was expected to ship in time for Christmas 2006. So many of us Mac users have been expecting a viable Bible Study application from Logos for quite a while, and have been disappointed with the product so far. So we (at least I) do not consider this to be an expectation for "lightspeed paring".
That being said, I understand the need to wait for Logos 4 prior to adding new features to the Mac version. Personally, I have little reluctance about firing up VMWare Fusion and using the Windows version of Logos, although I would prefer a native Mac version.

Has it been announced when the product was actually being worked on? And where was Libronix functionality wise (with what is missing on the mac) in 2006?
One small concern that I have of late is the vital importance of Logos concentrating on its core business of building world class Bible software. In the last year we have seen a whack of web services launched, a Bible study magazine and a conference. All these are great and create a lot of profile for Logos, therefore presumably generating more sales. The trouble is though, if your developers and key employees are running around doing all these other things, what makes your core business really excel can start to lose its edge.
I'm not critical and I love these extra things from Logos. I have seen other companies do this though, only to suddenly wake up one day and realise that they need to get back to their core business and compentecies otherwise they will lose the plot!
