Most of us have physical and digital books (Logos, Kindle, epub, etc.). Does anyone have suggestions for software that can easily catalog these collections - not manually typing or scanning entries?
I wonder how you want to inform any software about the physical books you own, if you don't want to type or scan something in.
Calibre is able to automatically detect your kindle books (I assume ePub likewise) if they are synchronized to your machine. I have no idea about its capabilities for physical books.
Collectorz is the one I use for physical books (and believe me, scanning a barcode is way more efficient than typing in something, and scanning/typing the ISBN or a meaningful author7title combination is much more efficient than typing in everything about the book) - it can handle eBooks to some extent but I didn't put those into it.
I make use of the online service https://www.librarything.com/. Years ago I managed to export my Logos Library and import it into Librarything. Can't remember how, though. You can add books in a variety of ways. Check it out.
