I am doing a search specifically in Proverbs.

On my desktop I can search for a word or words like this:

mouth, speak, talk, say

I just use either one word or separate multiple words with commas and Logos will search and find all the occurrence.

On my iPad I cannot. When I search the word mouth, several occurrences show up. When I search the words mouth, speak, talk, say, nothing comes up. If I search mouth, speak, only 1 serve shows up.

On the iPad, searches separated by commas are looking for all those words in one verse. How do I get Logos to search all verses for any occurrence of multiple words!

Hmmm that's odd it seems to work on mine.  Maybe if you call Logos they could help.

Using "OR" works for me. It has to be uppercase.

Weird, I tried it or and OR...  neither worked yesterday. Today, OR worked

Thanks!

Dave, thanks fot the screen shot. I'm glad this works. I probably should just be thankful and go back to work but I'm curious, why OR vs commas? Why not stay consistent across platforms?

I was curious as well. The commas are lost as part of stop word stripping, which was added in early 2011 to provide better results based on the kinds of queries we were getting. Search is due for an overhaul in the not-too-distant future, so we will probably revisit the decision as part of that.
