I was just wondering if Logos was going to be adding more books and sets of books to the community pricing? I would love a lot of the books that are on pre-pub BUT i can't pay for the full price of mutiple sets so the community pricing would be awsome! Just wondering if it was going to expanded. Thanks

Community pricing has languished. At one time it was going to be the place Logos tried to find an audience for large numbers of public domain works. For some reason it never really lived up to that goal. There have never been a lot of items in the program at any one time.

You will not find that the normal pre-pub items would ever be put into community pricing. So if you hoped to get lower prices on pre-pub items by having them sent to community pricing that won't happen.

I think the key point is that it is in the Community Pricing only if it is in the public domain (I guess it is). But since it is in public domain, many of us including the poor me would rather get it in a free way (usually found on web). Of course the amazing features of the software will be lost, say, the most useful searching function to me. But I'd rather save more money to buy books that is still in copy right.

Another reason is that since it is in public domain, it is pretty much outdated. Unless one is really familiar with the Bible and the subtle differences between theologies, it is good to stick to recent publishing first. And of course, experienced people are always to minority so that not much of us need things in public domain.

By the way, it would be much better if all collections in the public domain is free. Of course I am too idealized that they need money to covert the format. But, that's what the other did.

while that is probably my own knee jerk reaction (I like newer stuff myself!), there are several works I would like and DO like.  I DO like K & D.  I also WOULD like the complete works of George Muller.  Check out and consider ordering this set:

Here is a bit about it:

and I am THRILLED to see this moving up on the scale all of a sudden!  I preordered at 30 (some might say that is too low) but it is creeping up toward production!

ROCK and ROLLL!

I actually bid the same thing at the price of 33. I hope that it is not too low.

well, the way the graph is settling around 18 dollars suggests it might NOT be too low, but I suppose if more would bid higher, production would happen sooner and STILL not cost 30.  :)
