I opened my ESV Bible and there are nor markings for the verses; in other words, it just reads like paragraphs - the commentary I am using next to it follows along when linked, but the actual text in the Bible does not have verses -  all my other Bibles have verses marked.  I am using Logos 6

You'll have turned on the "Bible Text Only" visual filter. There are more details here: https://blog.logos.com/2014/11/logos-6-bible-text-only/

Open the Visual Filter menu in the resource and check if Bible Text Only is selected.

Turn that off and you should be fine.

You will see some other options to experiment with there

Thank you; that worked.  But . . . when looking at the visual filters options, I don't see to have these options:

Links to Open Panels

Propositional Outlines

Speaker Labels

Sympathic highlighting

as demonstrated in this discussion (see screen shot):https://blog.logos.com/2014/11/logos-6-bible-text-only/

the only options I have under Resources is Bible Text Only, Community Tags, and Corresponding Selections

I only have Resources and Notes & Highlights - see my screenshot

You need to hit the small arrow next to "Bible text only" to show the other options.  See the red box I've drawn below.

Bible Text Only Options

Edit:  I think I misread your full question.  What base package do you have?  I think the other missing options may be related to that.

Those that I don't have are under Resources, not Bible Text Only - they are:

Links to Open Panels

Propositional Outlines

Speaker Labels

Sympathetic Highlighting

I have the STARTER package

Does this appear if you open another panel?

Marlae Schnare:

Propositional Outlines

These require datasets that are only in larger base packages.

Sympathetic Highlighting

This is now called "Corresponding selection" (which is in your screenshot).

No, it does not appear if I open another panel.

Which base packages are they available in?

This is now called Emphasize Active References. You won't see it in Bibles, but you should see it in other resources.
