If a line of text is italicized, it is also superscripted, unless you put un-italicized text on the same line.

  1. Open a note
  2. be sure to be at the beginning of a line
  3. Use CRTL-I or click on the Italics format button
  4. The text will also be superscripted.
  5. type something.
  6. Now, turn off italics 
  7. continue typing. the italicized text will drop down and no longer be superscripted.

I am unable to reproduce this on Mac OS running L6.9. Are you running the latest version of Logos (6.9.0.0029)?

This is in windows. Likely different in Mac OS. I should have been more specific.

I realized (from your signature line) that you were on Windows. I was simply trying to help narrow down possibilities in order to help find the bug (if there is one). Some bugs affect only one platform but others are cross platform.

Logos Bible Software 6.9
6.9.0.0029

Sorry, combination of Bold and Italics.  I have done this on two different Windows computers. Using Just Bold, or Just Italics does not make it go superscript. But using both Bold and Italics does.

Bold only (look at center, highlighted text)

Bold and Italics

Then, continue typing on same line without Bold/Italics combination
