With bidding bump at $ 50, closing price could drop to $ 60 followed by $ 50; noticed progress of $ 50 bids has improved since yesterday.
Thankful for $ 80 cross over of 100 % on a Thursday with eight days before scheduled closing.
Thankful for more community bids of $ 65+ that has already decreased closing by $ 15.
It is at $65.00 now.

I bid just for this reason.
There was someone here pushing this collection not too long ago:
Massive Collection of World Religion Texts in CP $1 per volume
Great books of the Eastern World
Never the Twain Shall Meet?
The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur were nothing new
Well we are currently down to $1.30 a volume if there are enough late comers hopping on board $1 might be very doable. I am content with the price as it stands but the lower the better!!!!!

Very much agree with you, Dan :)

A teeny-tiny bump for the Monday crowd - doesn't look like it'll take much for the price to go down to $60.00 soon.

$50 isn't impossible. The price is very good now at $65. It can only get better as others enter a bid or bump up their existing bids that will fall short at this point.

I'm sure it isn't impossible but I won't hold my breath too long at this stage. And I'm glad the price went down to $65.00; right now just going down by another $5.00 would make me even happier. Baby steps
Maybe Logos could put out a email to one of their mailing list for others who aren't on the forums to consider it.
Rare event. The low successful bid price went up from $65 to $70 today.
Noticed => The Sacred Books of the East (50 vols.) is now $ 70 so more bids of $ 65 or higher are needed to change closing price back to $ 65.
Progress of $ 80 bids has become smaller, which happens when bids of $ 80 or higher are reduced or canceled.
That's crazy. an't say I've ever seen a community pricing go up in price. I wonder if people misunderstand the concept and lowered their bids to try to get the price to go lower.
Note: If you bid $80, you also bid $75, $70, $65, $60, etc. So if you want it to go lower, the best way to do that is to get more people to bid, not lower your bid.
Thanks Jacob for clarifying that. I sort of figured that that is the way the Community pricing mechanism works but it was good of you to confirm this especially for newbies like me.

Well, that hurts! I came here expecting to see it had gone down to $60 and it went up! I'm staying in at $70 but nothing higher
Hopefully the only further movement we see will be downward.

Second best is having users who bid lower than $ 65 to increase bids to $ 65. Graph shows a bump of bidders at $ 50; if those bids were raised to $ 65, then closing price would drop to $ 65 or lower (since a bid of $ 65 includes $ 60, $ 55, $ 50, ...)

Right. My bid is still at $80, but I will only pay what the closing bid is (which now appears to be $70 ). I won't pay $80.
Yeah, I wish all those $50 bidders would raise their bid to $60 or $65. That could push it down to $60.
Well, we're back to $65, at least!
