My Logos4 just downloaded the new Calvin Commentaries (weird as my prepub doesn't show as going through yet, but I'll take it). Very nice format! Much better than the old Ages ones.
The readability is much better: Good modern-style formatting. The yellow boxes are gone!

What? I ordered the Calvin 500 collection months ago and have been looking forward to this day. I have been opening and closing my program all day but no download yet. Come on guys. I won't be able to get anything else done until my download begins.

Donn,
There are two Calvin releases scheduled for today. One is the massive Calvin 500 collection you are anticipating, the second option is just an upgrade only for those who already owned a licensed copy of Calvin's Commentaries for Logos.
The Commentary upgrade only is what Jacob got earlier today, methinks! The "biggie" package you're anxiously awaiting will of course include the new overhauled/updated commentaries as well!

I think the commentaries get upgraded for free. The prepub upgrade just adds the Haroutunian volume.

I don't think so. I still have the AGES volumes after receiving the updated ones. I don't think you'll get the updated ones if you didn't order the upgrade. Looks like we'll have to hide the AGES volumes.

Before you hide them, as I just did, be aware that the new volumes are not available on the iPhone, whilst the old volumes are. Annyoing.

Thanks, Mark. You just saved me a bunch of time. I would have hid them and then had to unhide everything once I realized what had happened.
How many volumes are in the set?
There are supposedly 46 volumes....does that mean I should have 46 separate resources?
I have 19.
I also had not realized that this wasn't just an upgrade to the existing Ages ones....but whole new books...
do I have what I'm supposed to have?

You do. The new books are bound like most of the print books, so (for example) all the Catholic Epistles are one resource. In AGES, each bible book was a different resource. So your 19 resources replace the 46 AGES resources. Slightly naughty of Logos to describe them as 46 volumes, but they did the same with Bunyan if you remember.
Mark,
ahh...I just realized that....
after hiding the 46 ONE BY ONE of the old ones....I wish there were a "click shift" option... :)
It's here! Woohoo!
I only got 19, where is the rest?
Anybody know????
Read Mark Barnes' thread just a couple above yours.
My Calvin's Commentaries must have arrived since I have the new book "Calvin: Commentaries" by Haroutunian which was part of it.
However, other than the one new book by Haroutunian, I can't tell any difference in the Commentaries from the old ones. No difference at all.
Can you?

Odd.
I just got the volume by Haroutunian, which downloaded automatically, but the commentaries didn't download yet.
Yes, I have the Ages set of Calvin's Commentaries.
Just noticed that I have the same issue as the guy who posted one minute before me.

Richard,
Perhaps that is the reason I can't tell any difference in the commentaries. Perhaps I have just gotten the Haroutunian book so far?
How will I tell the difference in the New Commentaries?
Maybe Calvin can tell I am a Wesleyian, and he refuses to download.
Michael Childs: Maybe Calvin can tell I am a Wesleyian, and he refuses to download.
Are saying you were predestined to not get them?
I've posted on this issue in the 3.0 forum. The download link in the notification email only downloads the Haroutunian volume no the updated commentaries. Same with the link on the My Downloads page.
Are those having trouble having it in 3.0 or 4.0?
