I recently purchased the eight volume IVP Bible dictionary I made  them into a series in my library. I also created a collection. My problem is I don't know how to search for a person or a place without getting hundreds of hits I just want a specific person or place I'm using the basic search. Any suggestions?

If you want to use only the IVP, then open a volume and type Moses or Jerusalem (or whatever you want to "search" for) in its text box.

The other way is use a Topic Guide and type the same name. The Topic section will list a number of bible dictionaries but I'm not sure if IVP will be included.

A Basic Search of Everything will give similar results in its Topic section.

You can limit your search to heading text.
