I was just wondering about a possible new app for the Fire TV since it is what I have right now. Any in the plans? Thanks
We intend to support Fire TV but I don't have a timeframe for when it will be ready.
Dave,
Thanks for the quick response. I'll be patiently awaiting it.
Any update on the Fire TV front?
Yes...an update on Fire TV would be great.
I bought a Fire TV a few weeks back. Having access to FLTV woul be awesome.
(Very nice TTS featureby the way. Well done on that one FL!)
We are making progress on Fire TV support. I hope to have more to share in the next couple weeks.
Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to the Fire TV app.
The Fire TV app has been released. Thanks FL! This is really awesome.
And I can confirm that it is working from the UK.
Unfortunately "working" is a bit optimistic as it will not play a Mobile Ed course without crashing, but hopefully this will improve.
I just installed and tried the Fire TV version on my Fire TV and it seems to work fine. I have not used it much yet but OK so far. Thanks.
just installed the application and enjoying it all !
thanks Logos !
My fire TV app won't let me run the program. All it says is license expired
Disregard. I uninstalled and reinstalled
Tried it successfully yesterday but course videos were laggy and skipping. If someone from Faithlife is listening, it would be nice to know whether there is active work being done on addressing this specific performance issue.
Francis, we'll look into this to see what's causing the lag and skip.

Hi Jennifer,
Are there plans to keep adding new content to FLTV? I think the content has remained stagnant for the last few months as far as I can remember.
Thanks,
PL
PL, Adding new content is our top priority! We hope to have more added soon.
Jennifer, I tried yesterday to run video courses on biblical languages (Basics of Biblical Hebrew/Greek). When I scrolled down the course page to the chapters list and would select a particular chapter, it would take quite a while for something to start playing. Is content being downloaded or streamed? I am wondering if it is possible, on the Fire platform, to have content downloaded since apps can be downloaded as well. Could the Faithlife app include this capability if it can be implemented? This being said, I assume downloaded content would go to the Fire stick and I am not sure that it can take that much.
Secondly, when I tried to navigate (go back and forth between chapters, move the time index to later in a chapter), the app would freeze and often crash. All in all, I did not actually get to listen to what I wanted yesterday. I had about half an hour I could use to that end and most of it was spent trying to get things working. I did have video playing a couple times, but not where I wanted it and after much delay, so that did not help much.
Anyway, this is feedback about current performance with questions.
It's been more than 6 months later, and performance is still very poor. Is the issue still on the radar?
