Google Cast support in the Faithlife TV app for Android is available now. You can cast the Bible Screen video in the Faithlife TV app. We do not have plans at this time to add Google Cast support to the Bible Screen app.

Is there support for Google Cast from the PC platform?

Google Cast support is in version 1.0.5. When there is a cast device on the network, a cast button will appear on the video player screen.

You can use the Google Cast extension for Chrome to cast to a TV from a PC. https://support.google.com/chromecast/topic/4602553?p=castfromchrome&rd=1

I am using Android App 1.0.8 and there is no Google Cast icon showing up.  Only see Google Cast through mobile web.  It seems to have gotten broken in this build.

Bob,

It's working on my test setup (Faithlife TV 1.0.8, Samsung Galaxy S5, current model Chromecast). Are you using a Chromecast or some other device to cast to? What other apps can you cast from?

I have the latest version of Faithlife TV.  I have the orginal Chromecast but the firmware is the latest version.  The phone is a Samsung J7.  I use Chromecast for Netflix, TWIT Stream they work fine.

Is there a possible problem with FaithTV on chromecast  working outside the U.S.?  I live in Honduras

I'm not aware of any reason it shouldn't work outside the U.S. I'll see if I can track down an older Chromecast device to test with.

I just checked again and I still am not getting the Google Cast icon like your screenshot shows.  I wish this worked.

I had Chromecast several months ago when I checked out a Free Month of Faithlife TV. Now that I have it with Logos Now I went the other day and no ChromeCast icon Sad

I have the latest version - uninstalled and reinstalled. This is on both my Samsung Tablet and my Samsung Phone.

I use Chromecast pretty heavily, so am familiar with it - so would be open to suggestions why I no longer have Chromecast in the App? Thanks!
