Hi all — I have an issue that the "Resources are ready to be added to your library." prompt (the blue circle) never goes away.
I have investigated and looked at previous posts and taken steps but the resource keeps on being a problem.
I enabled logging and found this below — fragment from Logos.log file (I haven't uploaded all logs as I am 99% sure this is the cause of the problem).

This resource is, I believe, a Bock video course I used a while back.
I deleted the folders under the ~~/Resource Manager/Downloaded/ folder and also deleted the resource files (following Logos advice from a similar post) in the ~~/Resource Manager/Resources/ folder. The resource files stay deleted but the ?new? resource files keep getting downloaded but will not install.
Any ideas on how to clear this up and/or how can I clear out this resource which was a video training course so it doesn't try to keep (failing) update.

Hi Patrick
I had something similar recently and - based on suggestions in other posts - used the command "update resources" and that fixed it for me.
Have you tried that?
Graham
Hi Graham
Thanks for posting — that appeared to correct it, thanks. The message that there were updates available came up (I had already cleared out the 'Downloaded' folder) but I didn't download them and ran the 'Update Resources' command first. That took some time but then in the end it said there was nothing to do.
In case anyone has the same situation here are all the steps I ended up doing:
Hope this helps anyone having the same problem. Thanks again Graham!
I was having the same problem on multiple computers, this fixed it for me!
I'm having this same issue take place on my Mac. I do not have any base package, but am rather just using a few Logos resources with the core engine that I installed today. How would I go about enabling the logging and then getting at the log file so I can spend my day fixing logos rather than studying?
Thank you,
Michael

Is there a purchase you made which you don't have access to? If not, most likely you can simply ignore the warning.

I do thank you very much for pointing me to how to work with the log files. I'll go see if I can figure this out.
Well, that did not end well. Logos locked up and would not quit. I had to force it to quit on the Mac. It took the wireless with it when it died.
Now, I'm installing a brand spanking new El Capitan and Accordance. Logos can live on the 10 year old ThinkPad in the garage and I'll pull it out when I need to reference one of the few resources that I have for it. I almost dropped $2,300.00 on the full kit yesterday, but felt led not to do so. It's great to have a good Friend upstairs.

Sorry for your troubles.

Hallo Patric

I have tried your method above but the "Resources are ready to be added to your library" prompt will not go away
Any suggestions
Thanks

Please create a new thread, explain your issue clearly, providing appropriate details with logs. See my signature line to learn about logging.
I continually meet this same proplem. Even Logos Tech-Support cannot resolve it yet.
''Resources are ready to be added to your library'' prompt have not gone away for more than ten days. Normally "Preparing you library" would appear soon and then Logos 6 crashed immediately, though I have pressed Ctrl button.
As above, for some people this is resolved by entering the command "update resources" into the command box.
If this doesn't resolve the problem for you, please start a new thread and post logs after starting Logos.
