Just curious, was there anything in Logos Now that did not get included in Logos 7. I remember Faithlife telling us that there was a chance that not everything would be included if they deemed it was not used enough, ready etc..

There's nothing from Logos Now that's not in Logos 7, so far as I can tell — except the Courses tool has changed quite a bit, and some functionality in the LN tool didn't make it over to L7.

Thanks Mark. I hadn't noticed anything major.

Some features remain subscription-only such as Bible Browser.

Thank you Alan.

If by "subscription only", you mean Logos Now, why is Bible Browser listed as a new feature in the "What's New" thread?

EDIT: It is listed as a feature in the "What's Included" thread.

Disregard. I see it in Phil's post. It should be clearer that some of the things listed are subscription based only in the very first post of the "What's Included" thread.

We also merged the functionality of the Media Browser tool (6.x Now) with the Visual Copy tool (6.0) to make one Media tool that both finds and manipulates Logos Media items. So you could say that Media Browser "didn't make the cut" as a standalone tool, but all of its functionality is absorbed into the new Media tool.

What's the "LN tool"? I'm not familiar with that abbreviation, except as "Louw-Nida".

I was using LN as shorthand for Logos Now, so I meant that the Courses tool in Logos Now had some functionality that the Courses tool in Logos 7 doesn't have.

It took me a few minutes to understand but I see what you are saying now. Thanks.

Thanks Alan. It's worth noting that Bible Browser wasn't in Logos Now until the launch of L7. So it's not that it didn't make the cut, but that Logos Now users still have some features that non-members don't have, despite L7 receiving (nearly?) all of the existing Logos Now content.

Correct. Bible Browser requires both the Logos 7 engine and a Logos Now membership. It never shipped to Logos 6, with or without a Logos Now membership.
