Blair Laird: I am looking for the best way to search for the actual historical accounts for the death of Jesus. any help?
Well to start with, you have the four Gospels.
Did you mean non-Christian sources? I searched for Jesus Non-Christian Sources and got good hits:

Bingo Thank You
Just mentioned
non-Christian sources...from Historian Point of Few these are secondary sources instead of "non-Christian sources" the only First Hand Historian Sources are from the Gospels.
Mt 28:11-15 also is a non-Christian source

Blair Laird:actual historical accounts
You have your choice: define "actual historical account" in a manner that includes the Gospels or say that none exist.
Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."
If I understand Blair right she is looking for historical accounts for the death of Jesus not for the historical Jesus.
There aren't any (beyond the 4 gospels).
The closest you can get is references by Josephus ... one big reason Josephus survived in Christian circles, not jewish.
I'm responding to 'actual' historical ... not the discussers.
"God will save his fallen angels and their broken wings He'll mend."
How about Tacitus and Paul

This too.
I'd assume that https://www.logos.com/product/36463/the-resurrection-of-jesus-a-new-historiographical-approach has some chapters on Jesus' death.
