Does anyone own this resource ? I am looking for a set of resources that takes a look at all the christian doctrines. I want to see how they were held throughout the ages. I found this set but was unsure if it was what I was looking for. It is only two volumes. I would think a good set would be more then two volumes. Any ideas..

I don't have Shedd's but I have Berkhof's "The History of Christian Doctrines", (coming to Logos in the Berkhof Collection this Friday) it's pretty comprehensive, even for it's short length.
(P.S. Both works are available in Google books if you wanted to survey them)

What books or book is this from Dan ?
Paul Golder: I don't have Shedd's but I have Berkhof's "The History of Christian Doctrines", (coming to Logos in the Berkhof Collection this Friday) it's pretty comprehensive, even for it's short length. (P.S. Both works are available in Google books if you wanted to survey them)
Thanks Paul that Berkhof is a good find, very enticing.
I would highly recommend Alister McGrath's "Christian Theology: An Introduction" even though it is not on Logos
Blair Laird:Thanks Paul that Berkhof is a good find, very enticing.
If I did not already own his works in "The Software That Must Not Be Named", I wouldn't hesitate a second grabbing the Pre-Pub.
Might also be worth looking at Cunningham: http://www.logos.com/products/details/4187

Yes, this is correct unfortunately. However, I would recommend another book, "The Great Doctrines of the Bible", Evans, William. This book is easy to read and understand.
