I'm looking into getting a new desktop system for study and sermon preparation, and I wanted to ask (since its been a long time since anyone has posted about a Mac Mini system), "Does anyone know how Logos 6 or 7 runs on a newer Mac Mini?" Thank you.
The only real question is what kind of drive will it be using. A traditional HDD will not provide good performance.

It'll be 1TB of flash storage (SSD).
Should be fine then.
I run Logos on a maxed-out 2012 Mac Mini with an SSD and it runs fine. I'm sure the newer one should be good too.
Thank you to both of you, this helps.
Also, more memory helps with performance. Once you have the amount needed to avoid much swapping (8Gb) anything above that will incrementally assist by caching more of the disk into memory. The improvement from 4Gb to 8Gb is VERY noticeable and what I would consider almost mandatory. Above that ,more memory helps, but decreasingly so.

You want 16GB RAM. The Mac OS is a sponge for RAM and will use every drop especially while indexing Logos.
