Can someone please tell me, even approximately, how to pronounce it in English??

not definitively.

But as I recall my greek (ethnicity) greek prof pronounced it "Dih kai(long i) uh soo nay"

He also said every greek prof has a little different twist on pronunciation so take that for whatever its worth.

Well, I have one Greek word down.  I used to say dicky-yada-yada in my mind !!
