I am just not figuring out how to do what is likely simple:

A Prophet does something in the OT. For example:

  • A Prophet (any) writes
  • A Prophet (any) speaks

I am trying searches like:

  • lemma:נָבִיא <LogosMorphHeb ~ V????????>  (which is interesting enough, but busy)
  • lemma:נָבִיא   NEAR  lemma:כתב
  • {Section <Culture Prophets and ascetics>} AND <Sense = to write (communicate)>   (nah)
  • <Sense = prophet> AND <Sense = to write (communicate)>  (is a bust)
  • <Person A Prophet>AND <Sense = to write (communicate)> (is a bust)

{Section <Culture Prophesying>} might be helpful

or using <Sense ~ to communicate> and specifying individual prophets

Does this help at all?

Thanks, Graham.  You have provided a couple new tools to try.

I also started this effort below until I got tired of writing Prophets names...

<Sense ~ to communicate>INTERSECTS(<Person A Prophet>,<Person Isaiah>,<Person Jeremiah>,<Person Daniel>,<Person Hosea>, <Person Micah>,<Person Nahum>,<Person Jonah>)

Then i got to thinking of times God told a prophet to write (and the prophet likely obeyed)

<Person God>INTERSECTS <Sense = to write (communicate)>

This is progress.
