This may be a trick known to some but I only recently discovered it.

Say you are in WBC in Exodus and you want to look up what it says about a passage in Matthew, no need to find the Matthew volume and open it. Simply type the Bible reference in the reference box of the commentary and if you have the volume for that reference, it will automatically switch to it at that reference.

Very handy.

All series commentaries does that. You can create your own too. e.g. your favorite NT Greek bible with your favorite OT Hebrew Bible.

Really o.O? Pray tell? I've been wanting to do this for ages!

Thanks, Liam

One caveat applies. A resource can only be in one series at a time.

So, if you want to create a series with your favorite commentary on each book of the Bible you can do so, but that will remove each book from its existing series. That might not always be what you'd like, so keep that in mind.

If series would work in the mobile apps also, that would be really nice. (Or, if they do, please let me know the trick.)

Thanks Mark, that is really helpful advice.

Personally, I tend to be a commentary magpie, cherry-picking the single best commentary on a book, rather than purchasing whole series. This is mainly due to fiscal constraints more than anything else. Finally, discovering that I can jump between them now is going to make using them even easier. For this I'll happy pay the price of removing them from their authorally intended series.

Though for others, who have multiple complete series, I can see that this could all end in tears. Thanks for the heads up...

Personally including series abbreviation in commentary titles before changing series => https://community.logos.com/forums/p/139386/890581.aspx#890581 and => https://community.logos.com/forums/p/139386/890798.aspx#890798
