When I look at the open topics in a long list it would be nice if I could see which I am subscribed to follow without clicking them.
How about a default preference to auto follow any thread I start or comment on?
People are interested in different areas, as this evolves can we either see a more categorically organized forums home page?
As an alternative to the above, or maybe an addition, what if there were the option to get emails on new threads that are started, so we can be aware of interesting topics more quickly?

I think you get what you want if you click on "My Discussions" on the forum home page. It includes all topics to which you have posted. I do not know if it contains links to those topics or posts you have labeled as a "Favorite" or which you have requested to follow, but have not actually posted.
