The new iMacs are out. Fusion drive/Ram question. Advice

Also, I'm looking at the Wikipedia article for the fusion drive and I see that the current 1TB version does not have the same flash storage configuration that the larger drives have. Only 24GB according to the article.  This is different than the older versions of the 1TB fusion drive (128GB flash).  Reports on performance from other users experience may be different depending on when they purchased their hardware.  Something worth checking into I think before you decide on a fusion drive.

This is exactly right....except I hear it's 32gb of SSD. My question now is, would this be ok for Logos? I am thinking of going with the 27" for the extra real estate.

I would just go with the baseline 27" as it has a Fusion drive.....I could upgrade RAM myself as has been suggested.

I know all things are relative with finances, however, it is only an extra $180 for the 2TB drive on the base model. I would recommend taking the option.
