I have never been able to start Logos 4. I tried the suggestion I saw for one person to delete contents of the Library index file and then restart, but it didn't help.

Carolyn,

I was in the same boat as you when I purchased Logos 4 Mac. The only way I got it working was talking to a very helpful sales guy (Dave Kaplan) who first sent me the dvd even though I had downloaded the program.  Then when I received the dvd he walked me through getting it working. There were some complications that I don't even remember anymore, but he got me going.  Since then (November 4 with one of the earliest alphas), I've had excellent success using Logos 4 Mac Alpha daily.  Sure, there have been occasional crashes and force quits, but, for the most part, it's been usable from the very beginning.  I'm thankful that I've had better luck than some that have posted on this forum.  Maybe you could try giving Dave a call or one of the other sales people since there is as yet no tech support.

I'd be happy to help out. We'll need some log files (instructions for creating them can be found at the link above) and a detailed description of what exactly happens when you try to open Logos 4 in order to diagnose (and correct) the issue.
