Every time I try to open the Home Page the entire Logos Program crashes. This a recent problem that seemed to crop up after the last update however it could be unrelated. The rest of the Logos program runs fine but attempt to bring up the Home Page then crash and burn. In a related thread it was thought that RCL that may be part of the side bar might be the cause of the problem. I have the Episcopal lectionary set up in mine and was wondering if all lectionaries might be affected, not just the RCL. Or again, an unrelated issue altogether.  Attached are my logs.

Hello Scott, from the look of your logs you are still crashing on the RCL. There is a resolution for this issue and it will be solved in version 7.8 which should be shipping soon. Please make sure your software is set to automatically download updates from midnight-midnight and open the software to a blank layout until the next update is available. You can open to a blank layout by holding down the control button on your PC when opening Logos.

It should also be corrected naturally in the software Monday morning. The issue is a combination of something in the resource that the app couldn't handle. The update to 7.8 will ensure that this doesn't happen in the future, but getting to a new Lectionary date will also avoid this issue until the application update is shipped.

Many thanks guys. I certainly can live without the Home page until Monday. Smile I certainly appreciate you looking into this.

I have the same problem. Think I have RCL in the home page. If it's calendar based, I'm in Australia and it's Monday evening, a few hours from Tuesday and the crash as described in the OP is still occurring exactly the same. Set start-up to start with 'Blank Layout' and, as long as I don't try to go to the 'Home Screen', everything else seems to be working fine. No problems living without the home screen at startup, but I do have a habit of clicking that little home icon - looking forward to a solution.
