I use PowerPoint presentations when leading all of my Bible Studies, thanks to the proliferation of flat panel TVs. Often I need to link to Logos to interactively project some image or timeline or scripture. (I especially like having the computer speak scripture containing many difficult names; it saves so much time.)
I currently use the PPT hyperlink mechanism to start or re-acdtivate Logos, then if necessary open a different pre-set layout. When done, I 'minimize' Logos re-displaying the PPT presentation in order to continue the study.
I would like a smoother transition. A simple solution would be a hyperlink with specified logos layout.
This may be a simple request for technique/instruction.

I think there is a partial solution to what you are looking for - see screenshot below
On the left is a Powerpoint slide with a couple of links - created using the PPT hyperlink function
One is to a Bible passage, the other is to a Bible commentary on that passage. Clicking on them when in Powerpoint slide view mode will open Logos to the correct resource at the correct point. (Depending on security settings you may get a warning message about linking to an external program)
On the right is one of the resources showing how to create a link to that particular passage using "Copy as L4"
This will work for positions in books and some other things.
But you can't link to layouts or specific filtered sections of the Timeline for example.
So worth experimenting and seeing if it helps in some of what you are wanting to do.
Thanks Graham. That does what I was looking for.
