Yes! I went through it with my 8 y.o. daughter just a few months ago.

She really loved it. And the book is really child-friendly. The teaching is essentially the same as in Cold Case Christianity, and embedded in a detective story.

There's lots of supplemental online material as well such as videos and worksheets.

In direct comparison with Lee Strobel's book series for kids, this one is way better and a lot more engaging.
