It appears that many (most?) Mobile Ed course lack graphics accompanying the video of the speaker. Two-thirds of the display area is often available with white space that could contain textual bullets to go along with the narrative; but most that I have previewed or purchased lack them. For the price of these courses (around $35 per hour of study) I don't think including more visual aids is too much to ask.

I agree. The visual displays are very weak for the money, and very plain. Not only could there be more text, but more graphics to illustrate the teaching topic. I've hoped for a while they'd work on this and make what is otherwise a good product even better.

I think some courses have been better than others in this regard, but over-all, I've felt the same.  Seeing reinforces the learning from hearing and viceversa.  These course are a perfect platform for combining the two.  One of the better ones I've seen recently is Wendy Widder's OT366 Book Study on Daniel.

Interesting that you should point out the M.E. study on Daniel.  The two sample videos that are provided on the product page have little or no graphics at all.  I decided to take a chance on it anyway and, as you note, I found it to be much better than I expected with respect to accompanying graphics.  Really happy with my decision.  (Well...as happy as one can be having spent $220 for it)  Big Smile

Glad you're happy with it, Ralph.  Also very thankful for Faithlife's 30 day return policy on purchases including Mobile Ed resources.  I think it's a win-win policy.  I have made many purchases I would not have made without the safety net of the return policy.  As a result, Faithlife has more of my money and I have a larger library than I'd have otherwise.

The sample videos on product pages for our courses are put up before any work has been done on the videos. We try to update them after production is complete, but sometimes forget. We'll get the ones for OT366 updated.
