I read that if one reads an OT chapter each weekday and two OT chapters each weekend day, it will take two years to read through the OT.  Short of setting up a custom reading plan that specifies the reading for each day, is there a simpler way to set up a reading plan that requires twice as much reading on a weekend than on a weekday?

I believe you would have to set this up manually.

Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."

That is what I was afraid of.  Thanks for the reply.

One thought is two reading plans:

  • Every Day for most of the OT
  • Weekend Days for some of the OT

That solution is so simple that I'm embarrassed to admit that I never considered it. Sad Thanks.
