I have a Sermon on the Mount Mobile Ed course...

https://www.logos.com/product/80575/mobile-ed-nt251-the-sermon-on-the-mount

This course frequently has links to two "locked" resources...

SM:RCMMC

SM:MK

They are "locked" because I don't own them. So I'm shown a long and hairy Resource ID for both and the invite to "visit Logos.com" to view/buy them. The links are dead. I get a message that "page doesn't exist."

Soooo... can some sleuths help me find out what resources SM:RCMMC and SM:MK are?

Thanks!

From the list of resources in the courses tool, I'd guess that SM:RCMMC (referred to 15 times) is Sermon on the Mount: Restoring Christ's Message to the Modern Church by Charles Quarles which I own and is a Vyrso book no longer available in the ebook store.

And SM:MK sounds a lot like The Sermon on the Mount: The Message of the Kingdom by Kent Hughes - cited 31 times - maybe Logos has two editions and this is the odd one out, since the resource pages look slightly differently. You can buy the currently available edition here: https://www.logos.com/product/3173/sermon-on-the-mount-the-message-of-the-kingdom but this won't work the automatic links

You're very welcome. I'd suggest you cross-post this in the Mobile Ed subforum - the team is quite reactive and while they may not be able to bring SM:RCMMC back to the shop (somehow some of B&H's resources drop out for no apparent reason), they may retrofit links to the "Preaching the Word"-series version of SM:MK

Yes, in several cases.

Regarding SM:MK - I just looked into the respective Faithlife group and it seems the issue with this special book has been brought to the producer's attention some 3 months ago and they plan to rectify it.

Updating the links to the Kent Hughes book in NT251 has been on my radar for a few months. I'll prioritize it today and start the process of getting the course updated.

Thanks for getting on to this Miles,

Just thinking out loud - It may be worth producing some sort of batch file to  check all mobile ed courses from time to  time. I  have bumped into this issue once before on another mobile ed course  (although  you or someone else at FL sorted helped me out without problem) I guess as time progresses this issues will become increasingly common though and if you could just press a button at your end it may be easier all around :-)

Thanks again though for sorting this one out.
