Are there any plans to put this in a dead tree version?
Yes, hope to see it soon
I hope so too
Whyndell Grizzard: Are there any plans to put this in a dead tree version?
Lexham Press currently has no plans to release a print version of the Lexham English Bible. We've had conversations about it and it's been one of our most consistent customer requests, but the logistics of developing, printing, and marketing a new Bible translation are significant barriers to moving ahead with the project.

One idea is Community pricing of a Lexham English Bible with Faithlife Study Bible notes in an imitation leather binding with 10 point text. Another Community Pricing item could be a Pew Bible. Winning bidders could receive a coupon for use at ChristianBook.com for community price of print bible (allows customer to combine with other items for physical shipping).
Noticed ChristianBook.com has NIV & NKJV Illustrated Faithlife Study Bibles.

I believe the LEB is being constantly tweaked which is not a bad thing but if many changes are made it night irk those with a hard cover in that it was not what is now online in their FL software. Perhaps the changes are less than I had be thinking but I am not 100% sure that if they wanted a printed copy they have things exactly as they would want it before releasing it. I remember within the last year someone bringing up an absolutely horrible rendering and I thought it was agree that it should be reviewed and changed. While little goof ups may be rare it led me to feel it likely needed some more polishing.

I have decided to work on a print version for myself- its not that difficult- just deciding on formatting, then getting the right paper for my laser printer, already have someone who will doing the binding. Looking to make it approx. the same size as my current NASB version, with single column and side margin for footnotes.

Are you taking orders?
@Jake The License for the LEB provides for 50% content for a non-profit, and 25% content for a for-profit work to be used. for the 50% content non-profit level it explicitly lists a diglot full bible as a possibility. Is it a stretch of either the 25% or 50% grant of license to produce a multi-volume work, in which 1 volume is a complete LEB Bible, and the 2nd (through 4th for a profit venture) volumes of equal or greater size are other Bibles (KJV, etc.?) I think I read it is specifically allowed and encouraged, but it represents a risk I'm unwilling to take without confirmation.
Jake, it's been a couple years since the last update and I thought to ask if there is any plans to have the LEB in print?
I'm so grateful to God raising you guys up in creating the only formal equivalence translation vanguarding in translating the Tetragrammaton significantly more accurate than the longheld tradition of The LORD. I think this is the most powerful feature from the LEB becoming our generation's go to translation since previous generations translations fell short at this point. And I believe it will bring the Church to a deeper experiential understanding of what was going through the mind of the ancient Israelite, helping remove our incorrect modern perception that back then everyone had the same notion we have today when we read The LORD or God instead of the Tetragrammaton.
If in your reply there are still no plans, would you continue promoting your team in praying unto this?
Brother, thank you so much for everything you and your team do. You guys are amazing.

Hi Samuel,
Thanks for checking in with us. I have no new news to report on this front. We've continued to have internal discussions about publishing the LEB in print but haven't committed to anything.
What about the idea of another printing company being licensed to produce an LEB? There are others of course but what immediately comes to mind is Cambridge. They print numerous versions of the Bible in their own layout and design.

or, Thomas Nelson, who has produced the elegant NET Bible 2.1

To my mind, it's a book, and you already have the text. I mean, it's a long book, but are there necessarily significantly more challenging logistics to developing, printing, and marketing a print LEB relative to some other print book? Faithlife seems to offer progressively more print books as the years pass, so it seems to have the capacity to develop, print, and market books in a profitable manner... there are probably some important things I'm missing here.

If there is an app that converts the EPUB format to a Word document for printing (with footnotes on the same page) on a regular bond paper, would you use it? Does anyone know if there is a high demand for this? I

This is off-topic and really should be a new thread, but there already are (free) apps/programs that convert EPUBs to Word and other formats.
Thanks. I don't find the output of those apps useful.
Did you happen to complete this? If so, how did it go? Any chance you'd be willing to email it to myself?
I downloaded a couple different file versions of the LEB and they all look horribly clunky in any program that I use, and then trying to get that to print would be a nightmare.
Thanks, brother.
