I reinstalled windows 10 on my laptop recently.

Logos kept bombing, at least 10 times as it was downloading the 6 gig or so of content.

Finally it finished, indexed, etc. I've rebooted a few times since then.

The "CITED BY" is not producing anything.

See how everything is gray in the screenshot (the range is for the entire chapter of Gen 14. so the cited by section definitely should have lots of stuff populated. Note it's all gray with nothing).

Thanks in advance,

-Jeremiah

Hi Jeremiah,

I am sorry you are having problems. Could you try something please?

Open the search window, set it to basis, and run a search for  <Genesis 14> in one or more if the collections in your above example. If the search results are 0, then you probably have an indexing problem. Let me know the results.

Yep zero results and it says in the search window:

"Some search results may be missing or incorrect while your library is being updated"

Yet there is no index process running. Is there anyway to manually start reindexing?

Yes, type Rebuild Index in the command bar.

It doesn't do anything!

I typed 'rebuild index" and pressed enter

tried a few times (unless it's rebuilding but does not announce this? Usually I get the indexing message in the top right.

That's strange...try quitting Logos and restarting.

Restarted, it is now stuck on the splash screen (which never happens).

Maybe it's indexing there?

I have a decent system: i7 7th gen, SSD drive, etc.

thanks for the help, I'm scrambling to get my study sheet I put out weekly to the elders at our congregation and I lean on the cited by resources to do this.

If it doesn't get past the splash screen, you are going to have to collect and post logging information so a tech can see what is going on. See my signature line for how to do that.

It's passing the splash screen now, (had to kill it after leaving it there for a couple of hours).

Still cited still doesn't work and I tried searching for "Genesis 14" in the Yale Anchor Bible collection, no results.

Just the yellow message "some search results may be missing or incorrect while your library is being updated" But there is no visual indicator of any kind of update going on.

Restarted a few more times, now it says it's indexing!!

Hallelujah, hope this fixes things.

The indexing is stuck at 0%.

I bumped up the Logos_indexer process priority to "High" and it's using some CPU but the percentage indicator doesn't increase.

Any ideas?

Sounds like Logos needs to index, but that process is not functioning as designed. You should call or chat with support.
