Back in the Dark Ages when I used Libronix 3, I could double-click a Greek word in the NA27 Interlinear and it would automatically look up that word in my 4 favorite Greek lexicons. Can this be done in the New World Order known as A20? If this feature is NYI (Not Yet Implemented), what's the fastest workaround that you have found?
TIA!
James:
If you prioritize your favorite Greek Lexicon it should be the one used for Greek definitions when double clicking. You can stack a few lexicons in the prioritization window and if you want to use another lexicon when you right-click on the word you can chose a different lexicon you have prioritized.
Perhaps another option could be added to that second menu, so when it comes up after right-clicking, it could say "open the top 5 resources listed"

Thanks for taking the time to explain this, and I'm already doing this. :-) It works, but unfortunately, it only opens 1 lexicon at a time. To see my fav 4 lexicons, I have to select all 4. One at a time. Every time. For every word I study. :-(
In Libronix 3 you could set how many lexicons you wanted open from your prioritized list. Any chance something similar could be implemented here?
TIA.

Good idea. But in Libronix 3, you could set the number for each data type. Open top 5 for Greek lexicons, open top 2 for Hebrew lexicons, open top 4 for Strong's numbers, etc. Hopefully this sort of functionality will show up in L4. (And maybe it already exists on the PC version; I don't know.)
I have all my favorite lexicons open and just link them all together through keylinking. Works great. Click one word and they all go to that entry. Is this what your trying to do?

Good idea, Chuck. I guess that will have to be close enough for now. Thx.
I don't know where the status on the Mac, but in Logos 4 you can right-click on the word and do a "Power Lookup" on the lemma, from the context menu. (The Power Lookup pane is on the Tools menu.) This will generate a summary of all the top lexicon entries for this word, with direct links to the article.

Another good idea. Thanks, Bob. Unfortunately, the summary only uses one lexicon, even though I have 5 prioritized. How do I get Power Lookup to use all of them? Or maybe A20's just not there yet?
James, I don't think this will work exactly the same as in L3, but there will be a way to do this in L4mac. Let me show you what we have and then what will be coming soon.
For now, similar to what Bob suggested, right click on the word you want to study and open up a new tab as I show below. This will show your #! Prioritized Lexicon.
To access your other Lexicons, you can utilize Parallel resources. It is not accessible in the Alpha yet, but soon there will be a little button right here....
Basically, you can click this button (when it is there) to quickly open your next Lexical resource.
You can find detailed instructions on how this will work on the Wiki

Thx, Joe. I shall be patient.
