Hi,

I noticed that Library Opens in "New Tab" instead of "Floating Window" for Mac

  • Left mouse click "Library" in Home Page
  • Left mouse click on "Open in Floating Window" icon in red circle below
  • Library Opens in "New Tab" instead of "Floating Window" for Mac

Hi LimJK

LimJK:

  • Left mouse click "Library" in Home Page
  • Left mouse click on "Open in Floating Window" icon in red circle below
  • Library Opens in "New Tab" instead of "Floating Window" for Mac

I can confirm this with MacOS 10.14.1 and Logos 8.0.0.0562

I had simply decided it was a docking feature although I've forgotten the source of that tidbit.

Umm - obviously they spelt 'docking feature' wrongly...

I just noticed that the tooltip for the Doc's panel icon is different from the Library panel icon:

Perhaps the developers changed their mind about opening in a floating window and made it open in panel instead but forgot to change the tooltip?

My assumption is that the button is doing what it's supposed to and the tooltip is wrong (not the first!). I assume this because the same icon in the Docs panel docks the panel. I personally think the icon should be changed (even if only rotated clockwise by 90°). The current icon looks way to much like "pop out" or "link to something external".

More interesting because mine simple reads "library" on hover.
