0131.Socio Rhetoric Romans Crash.pages.zip5164.LogosLogs.david.20181113-110534.zip

I copied the following information from this location on the web:https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/prosopopoeia

1a figure of speech in which an imaginary or absent person is represented as speaking or acting

2PERSONIFICATION

then I tried to attach a note to

prosopopoeia

at this location in the Socio Rhetorical Commentary on Romans https://ref.ly/logosres/sorhet66ro?ref=Bible.Ro2.1-16&off=238

and Logos crashes every time.

This happens when you try to paste the copied info in the note box.

Does crash repeat if copy information from Logos resource ?

Screen shot shows Headword search bug in Merriam Webster 11th Edition (should have 1 result in 1 article instead of 38)

It would seem not. Nor do the original steps crash the web app.

However the fact that pasting anything into a note invokes a crash must be a cause for concern?

Copy from Web Dictionary has PERSONIFICATION (headword with URL to Web Dictionary entry) so application crash symptom is external URL.

Yes I think this is correct. Ive done it with other external links and it crashes. With no external links it works fine.

Thanks for the logs and repro steps! I tracked down the problem and will have a fix in the next beta release. The issue is actually with some poor handling of the all-caps styling on "PERSONIFICATION" in your example.

Thanks Bryan - it won't be causing me much trouble in the meantime.
