Pardon my ignorance, but there seems to be written codes that I can add into a sermon slide that changes the behaviour of the slide.

For example, if I add * to the beginning of a line & then * to the end of a line, it presents that numbered point (whatever number I give it) as I intend it. Yet if I leave the numbered point as it is, it changes the point to a number 1 as if it thinks it's the first point.

I would like to know of any other additional code if any that can manipulate the slides. Thanks.

If it is ignorance, then I share in that with you. I can't answer you question, but look forward to seeing what the answer is.

The slide editor uses the same Smart Media rendering system as Proclaim, so most (but probably not all) of what Proclaim offers will work here. Seee https://support.faithlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007376091-Text-Editing-Tips-and-Tools for some more examples, including my favorite, Fill in the _blank_ formatting that creates two slides.

(I just tested that with Visual Copy, where it works; I'm not sure about Sermon Editor, but I know that over time we'll be unifying slide editing behavior even more.)
