I get this, see attachment, when I load the suggested search layout. What are the two missing sections?

My guess is that they are Notes Documents which are no longer available as you are using the new Notes Tool.

Does that make sense at all?

This is a Logos 8 suggested layout?

Suggested by whom? Do you have a reference? How did you generate it?

I went back and looked at the logos suggested search layout in the layouts panel and in a gray font it said custom. so I guess you were right I probably added something from logos 7 not available in 8.

Hi Mike,

The default search layout is a singe search panel. If you wanted to be sure it was the old Notes documents, you could run the command Set Prefer Notes Tool to No, then run your layout to see if it was the Old Notes. If so then run the command Set Prefer Notes Tool to Yes so you can switch back to the Notes Tool and update your Layout to use the Notes Tool. You can even set it to a specific Note or Notebook.

I hope the helps.

Blessings,

Philana
