I have been marking up my ESV with colored pens and underling as well as adding notes. Now I find that when I scroll up or down past a chapter I don't see the notes or any of the marks. If I close the ESV and reopen it I can see the notes and marks again but if I scroll they disappear. ????

In the pic above all I did was scroll down and then back up.

I can't reproduce after doing pretty much what you have done in the ESV.

Try to pin the cause to something specific by experimenting:-

  • Does it happen only in the ESV?
  • If you remove the Note do the markups disappear?
  • Does it happen with Note(s) alone?

After hours of trial and error I found that it only happens on my laptop. I took the notes and mark up files off my laptop and placed them on my desktop and I found that they work perfectly. I will try to reinstall Libronix on my laptop sometime this week and see if a fresh install will fix the issue.

Thanks for your help and if you think of anything please let me know.

You are not alone in this. I am looking for a solution as well. :-)

All you need to do is scroll down the page... then scroll back up. In order to get your markings to appear again, you need to make a new mark on the page and voila, they return...

Right now, I use as primary the NKJV and I am using 3.0g Libronix.

Anyone with solutions or trial attempt ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

It might be corrupt Preferences so try renaming the "UserAppData " folder at the location shown by http://www.logos.com/support/lbs/specialfolders. If that works you can restore some of the preference files like Keylinkhandler.lbxprf & DataTypeoptions.lbxprf.
