I have just noticed that while I own "The Nag Hammadi LIbrary in English, 4th rev. ed. by James M Robinson (Brill, 1996), it does not appear in my library.
If you own this resource, can you let me know if it is in your library?
Hi Mark,
I have it in my library.
Did you check to make sure you cleared the library facet window? I have sometimes checked commentaries, then closed it, then opened it and typed in a resource and nothing was found because it was still set to commentaries.
I guess I am not sure what the library facet window is. When I click on library and type either the author or the name of the resource, it does not show up in my library. Should it not appear like a regular book in the library?
Sorry for the confusion if you are not on L8.
If you recently purchased the resource you can try typing "update resources", without quote in the command box.
If that does not help you may need to contact support..
Hi Mark, I also have it - just checked on the web app app.logos.com - and it is visible. I did a simple search on NAG and it brought it up (see below)...
Need to make sure in Logos 8 that you are starting with filter set to all.
Hope that helps.
Another thing to check is to see if it inadvertently got hidden at some point. (Hidden resources appear at the bottom of the Program Settings screen.)
Thanks all for your help. I am on L8. Time to call customer service...
Hey mark, when you get this resolved can you post what was going on?
Not having the issue but nice to know.
This is now resolved. Looks like I had filters besides ALL in the library. Once I cleared the filters, the item showed. It appears that if you have filters on (for example, I often check for new resources downloaded in the last day or 7 days), finishing your library search does not clear the filters. So the next time I bring up the library, the filters remained on from the last time I used the library window. If I click on ALL, that clears the filters. I then did the search and the resource was found.
Good to hear thanks.
