It is not an update. 4.0d is a beta test version and you need to go to the PC Beta Forum to learn about it (link at bottom of this Forum's page).

Ooops, my mistake. I thought I had seen '4.0d' in the 'About' section of my install, but I was probably mistaken (I'm not a beta tester).
