I added a load of highlights to Romans in the ESV yesterday. Are they supposed to sync onto my ipad? If so, it doesn’t seem to work? I can see them in the notes tool but when I open the ESV they are not there.

Yes they are?

I can see them in the notes tool but when I open the ESV they are not there.

Is the ESV downloaded to your device?

If not, try downloading it and see if the highlights appear.

I tried removing it and downloading again. No luck! Any other ideas? I appreciate the help!

After seeing others had issues resolved by fully deleting the app and reinstalling, I decided to try it. It has fixed scrolling and synced my notes display. Good times!

I am glad you got your issue resolved, but that solution scares me. As I posted in another thread, I am having the opposite issue of my notes not syncing from mobile to my desktop. I am afraid to uninstall the app because I have several hundred highlights I do not want to risk losing during the re-installation process.

You should be. Similar symptoms doesn't mean "the same problem." If there are actually highlights and notes on your device which have not synced, deleting the app will absolutely cause you to lose them. 

Please create a new thread. Provide all appropriate details. What specific OS? Which specific version of which specific app?

Normally I would, but I have already posted my issue on a thread discussing notes not syncing where two Faithlife employees (Phil and Bradley) have already posted and that has 7 people currently following it. I am hoping Phil and/or Bradley are among those 7.

The info I provided there is I have a Kindle Fire 10 tablet (7th generation) running the Bible app (version 8.0.8) and that highlights I make on it are not syncing to desktop (Windows 10 Pro running Logos 8.1.0.0023) nor are they syncing to the web app.

I had the problem that my highlights were not showing up on my iPad.  I attempted to reload the Logos app on my iPad 2 only to find that the version available from the IOS app store is not compatible with my device.  So, I am without the Logos app on my iPad.  I still have the Faithlife Study Bible app, but it does not have the full feature set of the Logos app.

If anyone knows how I can get an earlier version of Logos which is compatible with an iPad 2, then I would try it!

If you have a complex library and many highlights/notes, it seems that sometimes it can take a very long time for highlights to show up in mobile after installing new. It has happened to me a couple times when installing new onto my iPad that it has taken a few hours and in one case overnight to show all my highlights correctly in all resources.
