Hi,

I want to do a simple phrase search of the expression "noun kai noun". I can achieve this using the following command in Morph search:

@N BEFORE 1 WORD kai BEFORE 1 WORD @N

But this is really cumbersome, having to type "BEFORE 1 WORD" every time. However, when I type

"@N kai @N"

it returns no results. What am I doing wrong? How can I do such a phrase search? I could do this simply in Bibleworks using the command

'*@n kai *@n

Pls help. Thanks!

Luke

If it were me I would run this as a syntax search.

Welcome Big Smile

Replicated Morph search returning no results for "@N @C @N" using 7.19 and 8.3 beta 2

Changing Resources to include more morphologies allowed picking morph to generate search, which became phrase

"<LogosMorphGr ~ N????> <LogosMorphGr ~ C?> <LogosMorphGr ~ N????>"

Screen shot includes search modification @N BEFORE 1 WORD @C BEFORE 1-2 WORDS @N (some nouns have definite article after conjunction)

Thank you all for your reply. Thank you Keep Smiling for the command line solution. I was able to get it to work. Appreciate it.
