I seem to remember that there was an effort to break up sets so we could buy single volumes. There are a number of classics that I would like to buy (well, get for free via FC), but I cannot seem to figure out how to get to the individual volumes. E.g., https://www.logos.com/product/20311/dictionary-of-greek-and-roman-biography-and-mythology

It is likely, though, that I'm not remembering the sales status of sets. Please help me remember. Smile

Since nobody chimed in on this, I contacted CS. Here's the outcome:

1. I found the thread that I had tried to recall. It's here:
https://community.logos.com/forums/t/171015.aspx?PageIndex=1

2. It is subtle, but there appears to be a difference between collections and sets (even though sets are mentioned at places in the aforementioned thread).

3. My conversation with CS indicated quite strongly that the only thing that determines whether a book is available to us for our monthly free classic is whether it shows up under this search, which is too bad since that's a very, very awkward way of searching for things. (The logos.com search doesn't help much in this regard.)

4. My take is that it seems to be an odd artificial distinction between classics that are classics because they're classics, and classics that are not classics because we cannot get them as a FC freebie, especially when (a) I'm pretty sure I acquired some of these earlier when we only got one classic freebie a month, and (b) the price per volume is no higher than many of them that we CAN get.

5. So, FL, if you're listening, please consider breaking up these sets.
