Hi guys,

I'm about to lose my academic status now that I've finished my training.

Before it expires, I'd like ot see what discounts are about to go away.

Is there a way to make the Logos website show me what products have academic discounts on them?

If not - what should I make sure to pick up?

I would contact sales and talk to them about discounts that might be available on items you are interested in.

Congratulations on finishing your training! What are you stepping into, and related, what are your needs?

Are you stepping into counseling responsibilities? General bible study? Regular preaching and teaching? That may determine what you would most benefit from.

I've always thought the Base Packages (lower level ones are pretty affordable after Dynamic and Academic) are a steal. That's how I have rounded out y commentaries and other resources by searching through the Starter to Bronze and see what the offerings were. I'm at a place where most Bronze Packages were $50-100 and some would offer some great resources for the price. That would be how I would purchase commentaries.

Otherwise, I'd suggest the IVP Black Dictionaries for anyone.

Knowing what ministry/vocation you are stepping into would be helpful.

You can probably try to use https://www.logos.com/products/search?Specials=On+Sale&Status=Live to see what are on sales. Then if you see something discounted in your account, while not in this list (you can perform search in that link), it is likely it is on academic discount, especially if the amount matches the percentage you have (some are 25%, 20%, 15%, 40%, 50%, etc.).

I guess most if not all of the Logos bundles (excludes publisher bundle) are on academic pricing. Here a list:

  1. https://www.logos.com/products/search?Product+Type=Logos+Feature+Collection for collections for features.
  2. https://www.logos.com/products/search?Product+Type=Library+Expansions for library expansion from the Logos 7 era (they are still live.)
  3. base packages as usual

While this one is not academic pricing, it is limited time great deal: https://www.logos.com/zondervan-sale. The NIDOTTE/NIDNTTE bundle is a steal.

Now that you've landed that lucrative ministry position that awaits all Seminary grads Cool, Just drop down the coin to buy https://www.logos.com/product/165453/collectors-edition.

More realistic, commit to lifelong learning (Training is never finished) and take a post-graduate class every couple of years (online from a reputable seminary) and reinstate the academic discount.

Another option is to use payment plan (split the cost in n months with $5/month.)

  1. calculate/estimate the monthly payment you can comfortably afford every month
  2. find out for a given price tier how many months you can split it into
  3. find the most expensive package and/or other resources where the total is smaller than the total above

ie you use payment plan to lock in the academic discount you have while paying in the future where you don’t have that status anymore. The key is to determine step 1 wisely
