This repeatable crash happened while trying to edit a Note. The crash is strange in that setting up square brackets for Greek pronunciation in the same Note for the same purpose just before (see Crash Notes.DOCX) did not crash.

Steps to see the crash:

Crash logs:

Thanks for asking, David.

Upon review, I found that more clues are necessary for the developers to repeat the crash. I copied the Hebrew text from LHI (Lexham Hebrew Interlinear). Copying the Hebrew text from LHB (Lexham Hebrew Bible) just copies the Hebrew word without extra blank lines.

Here are the revised crash notes.

Jack,

Can you include your logs with the most recent crash? Just to make sure it's the same thing.

Jack,

You just shared your resource audit log. We need everything in your log folder, it should have multiple files similar to this.

This wiki post has more information on how to enable and gather logs.

Hi, Philana:

When I look in You will find the log files (v8.5+) in %LocalAppData%\Faithlife\Logs\Logos\, I see only these files:

cef

LogosCrash

LogosError

ResourceAuditLog.uowdhysc.5iq

Here is a ZIP of those files. If this is not what you need, please let me know.
